MEP COORDINATION
Piping Layout provides MEP coordination for new construction projects, saving valuable time and money.
COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN AND DRAFTING
Piping Layout currently uses Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP 2010 and COADE® CADWorx Plant™, which is a 3-D design package that will produce Piping, Equipment, and Structures in a 3-dimensional view. Data can be extracted from the 3-D model such as bill of materials and automatic isometrics.
PIPING & INSTRUMENT DIAGRAMS
Piping Layout uses COADE® P&ID professional to create intelligent P&ID. With many years of engineering/design experience, PLC has the ability to assist engineers and project managers in the creation of conceptual and construction P&ID.
EQUIPMENT LAYOUTS
Equipment layouts are provided to indicate locations of all equipment. This information is created in the 3-D model to check for interferences.
ORTHOGRAPHIC DRAWINGS
All piping systems are modeled 3-dimensionally. Plan & Section drawings are extracted from the model to assist the piping contractor during installation of the piping system.
SHOP ISOMETRIC DRAWINGS
Isometric drawings are extracted automatically from the 3-D model saving valuable time. Isometrics are provided with a bill of materials for the pre-fabrication of the piping system.
PIPE SUPPORT DRAWINGS
Individual pipe support details are provided for each pipeline. Pre-fabricated pipe supports save valuable field installation time and money.
COST ESTIMATING
With many years of piping design experience, Piping Layout can provide accurate cost estimates for design and assist clients in obtaining estimates for fabrication and installation.
MATERIAL TAKE-OFFS
A bulk Bill of Material can be extracted from the 3-D piping model for the procurement of piping materials.
ON-SITE MEASUREMENTS
Making sure that all measurements are accurate is the first step to a successfully designed project. Piping Layout utilizes precision laser equipment to obtain accurate field measurements to ensure a high percentage fit-up. |
